The New Cooking Up Romance

I did a little summer blog cleaning this week and Cooking Up Romance has a new location and a new look! The site is now here: http://www.cookupromance.com so old bookmarks, feeds and email subscriptions will no longer work (sorry about that). Basically:

  1. You’ll need to update your feeds: http://www.cookupromance.com/feed/ and bookmarks: http://www.cookupromance.com because the old Blogger site will soon be no more. All comments and old posts have been moved over here though so none of that was lost.
  2. If you’re subscribed via email, you’ll need to do that again (over on the left where it says Subscribe via Email).
  3. You can now save and print recipes directly from my site.
  4. You’ll see book covers and buy links in every review post.

Honestly, the biggest change is the standardized, printable recipe format. I’m slowly going through and updating all the old recipes, but that may take me a while. If you’re interested though, here’s the Bourbon Chocolate Milkshakes I did for Carolyn Crane’s Into the Shadows and the Bourbon Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Buns I made last spring. Clearly the bourbon recipes were my priority. I mean, obviously, right?

Plus hopefully the WordPress comment system will be better for folks who had trouble with Blogger and Disqus.

Maybe by the weekend I’ll be back to a regular posting schedule. I was especially sad to have missed two Saturday Sex Survey posts so I may try to do some make-up posts later in the summer to compensate. I have books scheduled through Labor Day to get us all the way up through 1991!

Phew! That was a lot of work and I’m still tweaking the new site so if you find any issues with it, feel free to send me an email or tweet me.

  1. You’re back! Yay! 🙂 And I think the new recipe thingie is TOTALLY worth it. Thank you for making it easy for us!

  2. Bookmarks updated, subscription confirmed, and my first comment since Disqus devil is no more. 😉

And YAY! YAY! for the print recipe function.

  3. Looks great! Bookmark updated, subscription confirmed, and (hopefully!) a comment for the first time since Disqus devil has been banished. 🙂 Thanks for making it easier to enjoy all your wonderful recipes!
