I do a lot of used romance buying in thrift stores. I actually have a couple of amazing used bookstores in my area, but it’s always wonderfully serendipitous to arrive at a Goodwill the same day someone has off-loaded their complete collection of 1970s Harlequins. Wanted, A Gentleman is new territory for one of my favorite authors, KJ Charles. I think it’s her first Georgian romance and it’s her first that I’ve read with a man of color in the lead role, though I believe her next release in February also has a character of color, a trend I’m encouraged
